The Billing settings page is where you manage your KrateCMS subscription. From here you can check your current plan and billing period, update your payment method, and access your invoice history. All payment processing is handled by Stripe — KrateCMS never stores your card details.
Billing settings are currently gated and may not be visible on your account. During the alpha period, the billing section is disabled by default. If you need access to billing settings, contact support.

Getting there

Navigate to Settings → Billing in your admin sidebar, or go directly to /admin/settings/billing. If you do not see a Billing entry in your Settings sidebar, the billing feature has not been enabled for your account. Reach out to support to request access.

What you can do

View your plan

See which plan you are currently on, your billing period (monthly or annual), and when your next renewal date is.

Update payment method

Add or replace the card on file for your subscription. You are redirected to a secure Stripe-hosted page to enter your details.

Billing history

View a list of all past invoices, including the amount charged, the date, and the status (paid, pending, or failed).

Download invoices

Download a PDF copy of any past invoice for your records or expense reporting.

Updating your payment method

Open Billing settings

Go to Settings → Billing.

Click Update payment method

Click the Update payment method button. You will be redirected to a secure Stripe-hosted page.

Enter your new card details

Fill in your new card number, expiry date, and CVC on the Stripe page and confirm.

Return to KrateCMS

Once Stripe confirms the update, you are redirected back to your Billing settings. Your new card is now on file for future charges.
KrateCMS never sees or stores your card number. All payment details are entered directly on Stripe’s servers, which are PCI-compliant.

Viewing and downloading invoices

Open Billing settings

Go to Settings → Billing and scroll to the Billing history section.

Find the invoice

Locate the invoice you need from the list. Each row shows the date, amount, and payment status.

Download the PDF

Click Download on the invoice row to save a PDF copy to your device.

Frequently asked questions

The billing section is gated and is not visible by default during the KrateCMS alpha period. Contact support to request access. Once enabled for your account, the Billing entry will appear in the Settings sidebar.
No. All card details are handled entirely by Stripe. KrateCMS only stores a reference token that Stripe provides — your actual card number, expiry, and CVC are never written to KrateCMS systems.
Stripe will automatically retry a failed payment a number of times over several days. You will receive an email notification if a charge fails. Update your payment method as soon as possible to avoid service interruption.
Plan and billing period changes are managed through your subscription. Contact support if you want to switch billing frequency or change your plan tier.
Contact support to request a cancellation. Your access continues until the end of your current paid billing period.
